The CEE ODTT-25/240 Deadbreak Bushing Insert Bushing Insert threads into a universal bushing well to provide the same function as an one piece bushing . Bushing insert and elbow connectors comprise the essential components of all deadbreak connections. When mated with a comparably and submersible connection insert provides a fully shielded and submersible connection for deadbreak operation, so that ensure to make field installation and replacement possible, efficient and convenient.

The deadbreak bushing insert is molded using high qualiy peroxide-cured insulation and widely used in the 250A plug-in terminaition of the padmounted transformers, submersible transformers and switching cabinets.

No special tools are necessary,. The insert can be installed by hand. An internal hex broach allows for positive torque controlled installation. Using the optional installation torque tool the bushing insert can be properly tightened into the bushing well without the fear of accidentally breaking the bushing well stud.
